Permit & Notes

Our permit enables us to do this.  It’s considered a clean-out of our existing pond. (Keep in mind that Sluggo was talking about not being able to build a pond down below in big creek, not on our property).

It would be very easy to build and the dirt would be used to reseed the entire lawn and/or build  a privacy berm on the south side of the property.

It would reduce the amount of mowing

It could be very deep, auto skimming and be fed with the fresh spring/creek water and be a terrific trout cold trout pond.

The inlet on the north side could have a waterfall or water shoot, like the one we have now and it would be see from the addition great room.  Another waterfall and draw down system would be at the outlet and viewable from the house.

Full-Size Trout Pond - Paid by Jim/Sandy as well as self-funded through the natural assets of the property (black dirt resale, etc.)
